Tim Merlier si avvicina alla maglia verde di Pedersen

Tim Merlier si conferma il velocista più competitivo in questa edizione del Tour de France e centra il suo terzo successo di tappa, imponendosi nella volata di gruppo a Chalon-sur-Saône al termine della dodicesima frazione della Grande Boucle 2026. Lo sprinter belga della Soudal Quick-Step fa dunque un grande passo avanti nella classifica a punti, avvicinandosi all’obiettivo della maglia verde.

Il leader di questa graduatoria resta comunque per il momento il danese Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) con un vantaggio di 40 punti sull’eritreo Biniam Girmay (NSN Cycling Team), 46 su Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin – Premier Tech) e 50 sul connazionale belga Merlier. Tutto invariato invece nelle prime posizioni della generale, con Tadej Pogacar sempre in maglia gialla davanti a Jonas Vingegaard, distante 3’36”.
