La seconda tappa del Tour de l’Avenir ha proposto una volata sul traguardo di Amboise e anche il cambio della maglia di leader della classifica generale. Per il gioco dei piazzamenti, il norvegese Kasper Haugland è riuscito a sfilare il simbolo del primato al belga Niels Driesen, che aveva vinto la frazione di ieri davanti allo scandinavo e al nostro Lorenzo Finn.
La giovane promessa ligure, in forza alla Red Bull-BORA-hansgrone Rookies, resta il migliore tra i più accreditati favoriti della vigilia per il trionfo finale nella più prestigiosa corsa a tappe riservata agli under 23. Il Campione del Mondo U23 può infatti fare affidamento su un margine di 1’56” sul brasiliano Henrique Bravo e sull’ecuadoriano Mateo Ramirez.
